The process of creating a dress for La Maison Talulah begins with the design phase. This is where we get to let our creativity run wild, sketching out ideas and experimenting with different fabrics, prints, and colours. We are always on the lookout for new and innovative materials to use for our designs, and especially fond of using sustainable fabrics such as silk linen, which is made from a renewable resource and requires little water and energy to produce.
Once we have a design that we are happy with, we move on to the technical aspects of dressmaking. This is where we get to use our skills in garment construction and technical design to bring the vision to life. We are obsessed with the details of dressmaking, and take great care to ensure that each of our dresses is made with the highest level of craftsmanship and attention to detail. We work closely with a network of suppliers and manufacturers who share our values and commitment. Together, we work to bring our designs to life, that we are all proud to have made together.
Dealing with factories and managing the supply chain can be challenging at times holding the whole process to the highest standards and expectations, but it is a part of the process that we find rewarding. We are grateful to have the opportunity to work with such talented and dedicated people, and always learning and growing through the process of bringing our garments to life. We are deeply passionate about the process of making dresses for La Maison Talulah customers, and we are grateful to have the opportunity to do what we love every day. Whether sketching out ideas, choosing fabrics, or overseeing production, we are always inspired by the magic of creating something beautiful and meaningful for our beautiful women.
Our vision for La Maison Talulah goes beyond simply creating beautiful garments. We are also deeply committed to ever evolving each day and every decision made for our collections including always finding new ways to deliver sustainable materials and ethical production practices, to reducing the brand's impact on the environment. Committed to using printing techniques that are both high-quality and ethical, which uses water-based inks and requires no harsh chemicals or dyes and working with mills that are certified OKEO-TEX100, we are constantly striving to improve our sustainability practices the more we learn each day. We work closely with a network of suppliers and manufacturers who share our values, and we are diligent about ensuring that our garments are made under fair and safe working conditions.
Our collections are designed with integrity, to stand the test of time. Our designs are to be loved over and over, not discarded. We are always learning and evolving and trying to make decisions daily that will improve our how we contribute to the world on an environmental level. And when it comes to packaging, we are dedicated to using recycled and biodegradable materials, as a way of reducing waste and minimising the brand's impact on the environment.
